Let Jesus Radically Change Your Life

If you are like me, you were hopeful that 2021 would magically erase all of the burdens that 2020 left. However, as we near the end of 2021, the doubt, confusion, uncertainty, and challenges linger on. But, I am here to tell you that Jesus can and will radically change your life, even in the darkest of days.

Unconditional love 

Turning to Jesus each and every day will undoubtedly change your life. First, you will experience unconditional love. 1 John 4:10 states, “This is real love— not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” (NLT) He longs to spend time with us and he desires our presence. And we can come to Him, just as we are.

He will welcome us with loving arms, no matter how far lost we may seem. Revelation 22:7 illustrates this beautifully. “The Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let the one who hears say, Come! Let the one who is thirsty come, and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.” (NIV) This unconditional love will lead to an ongoing relationship with the Son of man. He is ever-present–always with us in both our victories and during our trials. He will be there to listen, comfort, strengthen and ultimately teach us. His Word is meant to guide us and his Spirit will lead us.

You will be transformed

Second, with Jesus by our side, we will transform into the person we were created to be. As His creation, we are His handiwork, created to do good works, which we were prepared in advance to do! (Gen 1:27, Eph. 2:10) The more you allow Jesus, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit to work in your life, you will be more developed and exhibit the gifts that God has put inside of you. There is no greater fulfillment than hearing and answering the call placed on your life by the Almighty!

Undeniable Hope

Third, when you walk with Jesus, you receive an undeniable hope. He is the Light of the World! Hope is found in His promises that He provides when we enter into a relationship with Him. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” (1 Peter 1:3 NIV) 

Finally, when we choose to walk with Jesus, he in turn gives us “life and life to the full.” (John 10:10) We then are led to His unconditional love, transforming nature, and undeniable hope. He is always alongside us and leading us to walk in abundant grace.
